Ric Seaberg's Useful Info: Photos
Prairie City
- Just outside Fossil, Oregon, on our way to Prairie City.

- Our idyllic campsite at Depot Museum RV Park, walking distance from the North Fork of the John Day River, where I caught three small trout.

- Marie and I walked to the nearby Pioneer Cemetery for a few photos. That's Strawberry Mountain in the background.

- Marie relaxes under an old Black Locust tree in the Pioneer Cemetery while I return phone calls. The cemetery was the only place we found where our cell phones worked.

- We did, however, find a delightful wi-fi equipped coffee shop in downtown Prairie City, population 200.

- Each morning during our stay, we would rise and eat breakfast in the Airstream, and then ride our bikes to town to collect and respond to our email and to iChat with our son Blaine. This is the view of downtown Prairie City from our coffee shop table.
